Streamlined Checkout™ Knowledge Base Email
Not Working
Some merchants have reported some problems
with email notices working for Streamlined
Checkout.™ The problem can take one of
two forms:
■
At checkout a message is displayed that the
cart cannot send a confirmation email.
■
When a confirmation email is sent to
the customer the site url is incorrect.
The reason for these issues are the way
email server and site URL settings are
configured in the StoreFront™ admin table.
Check the following:
■
Email Method is valid on the web server and
spelled correctly. E.g. ASP Mail and
not ASPMail
■
Email Server is valid on the web server does
not require authentication. e.g.
smtp.host.net
■
Site URL is correct for your website.
E.g. IP address or temporary domain not
being used
■
Primary Email is valid for and working.
E.g. white listing enabled correctly on the
email server.
Troubleshooting one or all of these
typically clears up the problem.
