USPS Updates International Shipping Options April
9, 2007
For Immediate Release
The United States Postal Service USPS
introduced new international shipping
options today.
This change affects all ecommerce merchants
who support international shipping using
through USPS. Merchants using shopping
carts may wish to update/adjust their
international shipping methods to keep up
with this change.
Merchants using the StoreFront™ cart who do
not support international USPS shipping are
not effected. Merchants who support
carrier based shipping and USPS and
international shipping will see the
displayed International Shipping options
returned from the USPS shipping gateway
server change to new options.
Merchants who use Streamlined Checkout™ and
support USPS international shipping may wish
to update their advanced configuration for
international shipping, in order to
filter/manage the new shipping rates. More about advanced
