Shipping and Billing Page
Streamlined
Checkout™ replaces the StoreFront standard
Shipping and Payment pages to streamline the
checkout process to 2 short steps.
In step 1 of 2, Bill To and Ship To
information is collected on a single page,
and no account logon is required - when a
customer completes checkout a customer
account is automatically created on the
store and a
password assigned. The customer is sent
notice of this password by email and can
change later.

Payment Page
Streamlined
Checkout™ replaces the standard StoreFront
payment page with one that looks identical,
but ties in with SC code to significantly
reduce the risk of dropped items in the
shopping cart. Checkout is kept as
simple and short as possible, to minimize
customer drop-out, also known as cart
abandonment. Studies have consistently show
cart abandonment is typically reduced by 50%
or more using Streamlined Checkout™.

Page
The
Order Confirmation page is the same as the
standard StoreFront page. Digital
Beach routinely adds a Checkout Survey or
advertising to this page, as well as code to
pass data back to Analytics engines for ROI
tracking.

Streamlined Checkout™ provides the
ability to fine-tune StoreFront Carrier
based methods and create custom shipping
methods with advanced configuration types,
include flat rate per order, fixed rate per
item, fixed rate first item, product based,
valued based, product + value based, as well
as configuring base and incremental rates,
geographic constraints, sort order, custom
naming and support for Free Shipping and
Free Shipping Coupons.

minutes on any LaGarde StoreFront™ shopping
cart site and consists of copying up to the
website a handful of files. Two custom
tables and two views are added to the
database. No StoreFront™ tables are
altered in any way and no product, customer
or order data is at risk from installation.
