Streamlined
Shipper™ for the LaGarde StoreFront™
shopping cart is one of the most powerful
tools available for keeping prospective
customers on your site. For years
study after study has shown that one of the
most significant barrier to the sale,
customer retention and ability to stick
customer to an ecommerce site is the
importance of overcoming the objection to
shipping costs.
Streamlined Shipper overcomes this critical
objections by allowing shoppers to display
shipping costs at any time prior to
checkout... even to anonymous shoppers.
This tool enables shopping cart
enables shoppers to check shipping
rates for products while browsing anywhere
from the
StoreFront™ store without having to add
items to the shopping cart, and also to
preview shipping rates for cart items from
any store page. Installation consists
of a few files and takes minutes with no
store downtime.

Streamlined
Shipper™ can be configured to show preview
shipping rates on the shopping cart, or
order summary page. Shoppers can
preview shipping costs easily and
anonymously before committing to checkout.
The ability to preview shipping costs
is a critical factor in reducing cart
abandonment.

Shopping Cart Page Popup
Same
as previewing shipping costs on the shopping
cart page, this option sets the form for
entering shipping city, state, country and
postal code and shipping rate results in a
popup window for more economical use of
space and a more streamlined approach to the
shopping experience.

Option 3
Catalog Page Popup
Yet
another way to setup Streamlined
Shipper™ is at the catalog, or SeachResults
page level. This approach shows a link
on the catalog page for each product -
clicking on the link opens a popup window
allowing the shopper to enter shipping
information and return shopping rates.
Similar to the other Shipper links, this
option allows merchants to control at which
step in the shopping experience the Shipper
function appears on the site.

Product Page Popup
Streamlined
Shipper™ can be placed anywhere in the
Streamlined Checkout™ cart, allowing users
to preview shipping rates anywhere,
including on product pages Merchants
can place this control at any position on a
product page to create a customized
experience for showing shipping rates.
Rates can be shown on page or in a popup for
great flexibility in product presentation
and managing the overall shopping
experience.

Product Page On Page
Streamlined
Shipper™ can be placed on any part of the
StoreFront page, including the top and
sub-banners (usually the website header and
top menu), either or both of the left
columns, the website footer, and anywhere in
the body of any page, providing great
flexibility and redundancy in delivering the
shipping merchant message to shoppers.
Streamlined Shipper™ can be placed
optionally on the page or in a popup,
providing great latitude in presenting
shipping rates as part of the critical sales
message. All shipping values are
passed from the StoreFront™ shopping cart
and show the same values at checkout.

Installation
Streamlined Shipper™ installs in
minutes on any LaGarde StoreFront™ shopping
cart site and consists of copying up to the
website a handful of files. Two custom
tables and two views are added to the
database. No StoreFront™ tables are
altered in any way and no product, customer
or order data is at risk from installation.
