Streamlined Checkout™ turns the standard StoreFront™ checkout process into two simple, streamlined steps. Streamlined Checkout™ is designed to meet one primary goal - eliminate all possible barriers to the sale - making checkout as simple, streamlined and easy as possible for the shopper.  Additionally, Streamlined Checkout™ supplies advanced shipping configuration support and enhancements required by many merchants from small to higher-end.  To that end, Streamlined Checkout™ brings the following advanced features to the StoreFront™ shopping cart:

Automatic Account Registration
      Customers are not forced to the extra step of creating an account, eliminating a major source
      of shopper frustration, cart abandonment and lost sales (the StoreFront cart does not support
      this feature for all 6.x versions).

Streamlined, 2 Step Checkout
      Checkout is streamlined to two steps - two pages only that greatly reduce cart abandonment
      and shopper confusion, the second major source of lost sales.

Advanced Shipping Support
      Support for advanced configuration of StoreFront™ carrier-based shipping including control for
      naming, sort order and geographic constraints.  Configuration of custom shipping methods
      based on product, value, product + value, flat rate per order, fixed rate per item, incremental
      and geographic constraints.

Geo Constraints
      Standard and custom shipping methods can be controlled at the country, state and postal code
      levels.  Merchants can exclude or include any shipping method based on location.

In Store Pickup
      In Store Pickup with Free Shipping can be configured with customizable labels, Free Shipping
      message and pricing.  Streamlined Shipper™ can be configured for In Store Pickup too.  Geo
      Constraints can be applied to show this option only to local customers.

USPS International Shipping
      New USPS International Shipping methods can be excluded, renamed, sorted, price adjusted
      and enabled/disabled based on geo constraints.

Advanced Free Shipping
      Support for fine-grain control over which shipping methods support free shipping, and which
      are excluded.

Shipping Address Not Required
      Shoppers may enter only a single address for both Bill To and Ship To addresses.

Redundant Validation and JS Support
      Guards against spoofing of the store.  Greatly minimizes risk of loss of cart items.  JavaScript
      validation provides immediate shopper feedback on data entry problems, without refreshing
      the page from the server.

Streamlined Shipper™ Integration
      Streamlined Checkout™ and Streamlined Shipper™ work together to both streamline the
      checkout process and deliver immediate shipping cost information to the shopper early in the
      shopping process as possible, right on the product page.

      StoreFront™ plug-in installations and can install in minutes.  No recompile is needed to install,

Digital Beach announces the scheduled release of Streamlined Checkout™ 3.0 for Q4 2007.

Streamlined Checkout™ provides the ability to fine-tune StoreFront Carrier based methods and create custom shipping methods with advanced configuration types, include flat rate per order, fixed rate per item, fixed rate first item, product based, valued based, product + value based, as well as configuring base and incremental rates, geographic constraints, sort order, custom naming and support for Free Shipping and Free Shipping Coupons.

Installation
Streamlined Checkout™ installs in minutes on any LaGarde StoreFront™ shopping cart site and consists of copying up to the website a handful of files.  Two custom tables and two views are added to the database.  No StoreFront™ tables are altered in any way and no product, customer or order data is at risk from installation.
